Our soft open week continues!
The exhibit "A Promise of Rain" up front in The Umbrella Shop featuring works by Adam Cook, Matt Bryan, Amy Holmes, Forrest John, Joe Neaf, Stephen McClenahan, and Tuna remains on display through the end of the month with viewing hours beginning at noon each day.
Tonight Sharon Hall will be performing acoustic on the gallery side.
Saturday the Backside will host its first open mic! Bring your instruments, your jokes, your stories, your weird people tricks, and give it a go on our stage with this red hot PA system. You're gonna love it.
Sunday we have our first comedy showcase hosted by Pat Ryan and featuring Emily Hooper, Tom Brown, Sarah Pearl, Tiel Pearce, and Emily Zell (it is Sunday, so this is a dry all ages event- all others are 21+, BYOB).
Monday we have a singer-songwriter showcase with joebryant., Heavy Weather, Jess Bohn, H. Smokeskull, and Kori Morgan.
Tuesday for Halloween we will be watching some of our favorite spooky films, including an exclusive screening of the new Janice.click feature Squatch Junkies!
We are looking forward to sharing our further plans for these spaces soon, and are absolutely thrilled that the community has found excitement and inspiration in our efforts, we can't wait to work with you all!
