Theatre Club will be meeting this Thursday, February 8th at 4:30pm in the Blackbox Design Lab! We’ll be discussing our Service Project and what we’d like to accomplish this Semester.

If you can’t make the meeting and would still like to be involved, please let us know so we can fill you in!

Hello Theatre-goers,

Theatre Club is excited to present Gender Bent Shakespeare this Friday from 4:00pm-5:00pm! Actors will be portraying characters of the opposite gender in a collection of different scenes! The show will take place as Shakespeare is meant to be performed, outside at CLU's very own amphitheater! Bring blankets and chairs and get ready to laugh. Questions? Hello!

Theatre Club will be doing a staged reading of "Star Wars: The Prequels (Abridged)", an original play written right here at CLU. It is a fast-paced, comedic parody of the Star Wars Prequel trilogy.

If you are interested in participating, there is a sign up sheet on the call board in the Blackbox with time slots available. We will be running auditions from 4:30-5:30pm today in the Blackbox Acting Space.

She is a freshman here at CLU majoring in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in musical theatre and Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising. Meet CLU Theatre Club's Co Vice President Blake Elder! He's a Freshman at CLU, and is currently undecided. He joined Theatre Club because he loves theatre and has been performing since 7th grade. Blake has been in many shows and is currently work on a short student film!

He just transferred to CLU as a junior and is majoring in Communication with an emphasis in TV/Film production and minoring in Business Administration. With his first semester in college, he has already secured himself a cabinet position due to his interest and dedication to the club. Fun fact: Alejandro worked as a street mime over the summer.
