Our Story
Renegade Ballroom is a non-traditional dance company started by myself, Rene Celaya Jr. My goal is to make dancing more affordable and accessible to the general public and in more areas in Tucson. I have been training in dance for 24 years and have taught people to dance for almost 12 years now. I have highly regarded international certifications from DVIDA in Smooth, Rhythm, Latin, and Standard dance. I have danced around the country in exhibitions and many competitions. I am also a well known and avid social dancer in most club and bar style dances as well as Country dances in Tucson. If you are interested in any style of partnership dancing for any reason; weddings, quinceaneras, socially, or even competition please do not hesitate to contact me. I will do everything I can to make the experience a positive one for you. I love what I do and have the reputation of being one of the best instructors in the City of Tucson.
