Yet another loving couple’s union was captured by yours truly!

I was deeply honored to witness the union of two incredible families: the groom’s family, originally from France, and the bride, a beautiful soul with dual U.S.–French citizenship. Their love story spans continents, and it was a privilege to bring it to life in this cinematic wedding video.

Special gratitude to our extraordinary vendor team, whose collaboration made this film shine: the florist, planner, photographer, DJ, venue staff—and every creative partner who believed in the vision. Their professionalism and artistry elevated every moment, from the emotional “first look” to the joyous celebration under the stars.

A heartfelt highlight: the bride’s father, a proud alumnus of NC State University, offering a touching toast that blended French elegance with Southern warmth. It was a beautiful weaving of heritage and home.

✨ The same photo — 15 years apart. ✨

How can it be? It seems in the length of one breath… My little girl grew up. 💕

Being a dad myself, I truly understand what a wedding day means to the Father of the Bride. From that first look 👀, to walking her down the aisle 🤍, to giving a toast about “his little girl” 🥂 — every moment is priceless.

These moments are too important to think that photos will be enough or that just any videographer will do it justice.

The party may be hopping around me, but I get in the zone! Towards the end of the night, I may look a little messier and sweaty-er, but it's all worth it!

Also, if you bite your lower lip while filming, it improves the shot, apparently.

HOT TAKE

Sorry not sorry, but vertical video is inferior to widescreen format.  Particularly for anything involving story or narrative because our sight and memory is not vertical. This is why movies and great television series are widescreen and not vertical video.  

A wedding day is no different and the memories should be captured so they can be relived.  Vertical video is great for a few seconds but not for remembering your entire wedding day.

The beautiful Walnut Hill venue stood as the perfect backdrop for yet another young couple committing their lives to each other, Emily & Gavin. A wedding like this deserves more than a highlight — it deserves to be felt. And Emily & Gavin’s day was full of heart, light, and unforgettable moments.

I consider it a privilege to work alongside wedding pros who are at the top of their game. Every wedding I do is a reminder of the hope and love that exists in each one of us. A foundation of community and family is still something worthwhile to pursue even in this crazy mixed up world.
