Surf for the Cure () is an annual fundraising event in Virginia Beach, VA, to be held October 7th and 8th this year at the First Street Jetty.

MISSION: To help raise Awareness of Breast Cancer, to support nine local breast cancer patients and to provide a day of fun for survivors and anyone in the community who is interested in supporting a great cause. This year Coastal Edge 2022 Surf For The Cure for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wahine Surf Club will be selecting Nine Local Breast Cancer Patients to receive a Financial Gift. During t

hese economic hard times, we would like help lessen the out of pocket medical expenses to those in need. The Wahine Surf Club is asking our Community to nominate a Person whom you feel could use some help during these difficult times. Please send us your Nomination with a brief explanation of their Story via email to [email protected]

Nominated current breast cancer patients must be willing to be photographed, videoed and receive financial gift in person in November. Supporting documentation needed for consideration medical bill related to breast treatment showing out of pocket expenses and letter from treating oncologist. Our Selection will be from all Entries received and Winners will be notified by November 4th. In addition, we are providing a day of fun for everyone in the community who is interested in supporting a great cause. Event Schedules
