I've been photographing this family since Ella was, like, 6 years old! So I was thrilled when they decided to come to the studio for Ella's SENIORS. Her session was perfect... she brought all the right clothes (which I helped coached on ahead of time) we enjoyed a morning with mimosas and music. It was a full day of fun and she's thrilled with her beautiful new album and wall art.

I got a verbal confirmation on the subject and magic was had.

This table lean was his favorite and will hang in his parent's home until he's got his own crib. I love that he has a 'Stacy Ideus' portrait in his life. (not to mention his stellar album holding 20 of his favs...)

Welcome to my happy place! I can’t put into words how much joy my studio brings me. It’s a little slice of heaven filled with tons of natural light, creativity, and laughter. I’ve even taken over half of my husband’s garage to accommodate all my photography gear, chairs, props, and backdrops—let’s just say there’s a lot out there for a kitten to explore.

Every session is a unique experience, and from the second my clients walk through the door, they’re not just greeted; they’re welcomed with open arms and something to sip on. It’s all about making everyone feel like they will forever be a thread in my fabric. People often don’t want to leave, and honestly, I don’t want them to either.
(because it's not a photoshoot....it's a party)

Words from Miki BEFORE her shoot... 'I have self confidence. There are times that I feel like I look good but I don't know if I have ever felt beautiful. If someone tells me I am beautiful, I don't know if I believe it. I struggled with an eating disorder in my younger years. I have had body dysmorphia most of my life. I have no idea what I look like to other people. I like the way I look. I work hard to stay fit but I still really have no idea what I look like when I look in the mirror.'

And after her shoot: 'I truly felt beautiful and young again after pictures that day. I felt proud of who I am.' We love you, Miki!! (and we think you look beautiful and a LOT like Kristin Chenoweth, no?)

Stacy here! Wife, mother, dog lover and I shoot people. One thing you need to know: photoshoots with me are never ever boring. I have an option for everyone so let’s get together and be weird! Sessions are either on location, in studio, or in home. By appointment only.
