Back to basics.

Because we buy flowers by the bunches, there are inevitably going to be leftover stems (snapped stems or smaller extra stems). These are the we ones use for arrangements like this, which we display around our apartment. They’re also a great way to practice.

IT’S 1 WEEK UNTIL MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL! 🌝🥮🍂

To celebrate it alongside ’s 5th Anniversary weekend, we will be holding a floral bouquet pop-up with a Mid-Autumn palette this Saturday & Sunday (9/14 & 9/15) from 1-4 pm. Did you know that sunflowers have 2 lives?

Sunflowers look beautiful even once their petals have fallen off. These are the same flowers that made up our newest product, “Sunflowers”. We rearranged them into this piece once the petals started to wilt.

Hope this is a helpful tip for anyone looking have some sunflowers in their home! 🌻

Still thinking about this fun arrangement we created for at their newest Larchmont location. Vibrant, colorful blooms were a perfect compliment to their bold flavors and funky, fun aesthetics.

We are fans of Tu Madre and were so happy they agreed to partner with us in creating this arrangement! One of our favorite things from starting a small business is getting to know our community better and getting to share our love of flowers with our neighborhood.

Every friday we post tips & tricks we’ve learned along the way working with blooms. ~ REFLEXING CARNATIONS. > What is reflexing? > Also known as inverting petals, it is a floral design technique that involves gently bending a flower’s petals away from the center of the bloom to make it appear more open and vibrant. > Can you do this with other flowers? > Yes!
