For world opera day and partnered with .eu Polish National opera , Finnish National opera and Teatro dell opera di Roma, helping bring to life a Ukrainian masterpiece.

The final work will be streamed on World Opera Day this coming October 25!

Shenandoah Opera has the pleasure of hosting the American premiere of Back into the World, a playful and interactive new opera for children. This show will be performed in Goodson Chapel at 3:15pm.

Directed by and .harmon0521, Jazz All Night is a 20s themed production, featuring today’s hit songs derived into jazz tunes. Characters narrate the story through song and dance only! See this project at 4:15 in Shingleton Dance Space.

Join us this Sunday as Opera Extra premieres Le Bistro Poulet, a new work composed by alumnus with libretto by senior .

During a dinner shift at Le Bistro Poulet, the kitchen staff are informed by Marsha, the widowed owner of the Bistro, that Tom Cruise will be coming to their restaurant for dinner. It should be a perfect night, but the Ghost of Marsha’s dead husband returns and begins haunting the kitchen on a quest for vengeance. Chaos ensues!

Our Shadow Day performers, Vanessa Estaniel and Ever Krikorian, showcased our department so wonderfully! Here at Shenandoah we have such a wealth of different voices.

Opera Extra’s Gilbert and Sullivan scenes program is off to a great start! We have completed almost all of our music rehearsals, and we are constantly blown away by our cast’s talent and enthusiasm. We can’t wait to share our program with you!

Congratulations to Dr. Naumenko for a beautiful recital! We had such a pleasant journey through old and new Russian vocal literature.
