Alexis & Stephen married just last weekend and the photos of their beautiful summer wedding at are gorgeous.

Alexis was so lovely in her ballgown. She chose a classic swiss dot fabric with ruched bodice and full circle skirt that was perfection for the summer season and forever timeless. We’ve been in the new space for 5 months — what a dream come true it has been! The goal was to build a lovely, functional yet charming space for brides and their guests. After serving so many wonderful brides and debutantes over the last 5 months, those thoughtful decisions has created the most beautiful space.

I really looked forward to the day when the shop was ready for two of my favorite creatives to work their magic! That day happened a few weeks ago when and spent the day photographing and capturing the space on video. I can’t to share more!

Thank you to all the brides who have visited the new space and allowed Bellissima to be such a huge part of your biggest day! We have loved welcoming you to the beautiful new boutique! There are so many things I love about Lea-Ann Belter gowns. Each gown is made in the Lea-Ann Belter flagship store in Toronto, Canada by a highly skilled team. Bride’s will notice the beautiful details, such as real working buttons, horsehair trims and gorgeous pleating and hand draping. I have always loved Lea Ann’s fabrics - Italian silk crepes, light as air organzas and my favorite - silk brocades. The Lea-Ann Belter collection is 100% customizable which means we can do anything - fabric changes, combine two gowns, change necklines - the options are limitless. When bride’s place an order for a LAB gown, I take many measurements because a pattern is cut for every bride which provides an extraordinary fit.

I’ve worked with Lea-Ann Belter and her team for years and have the most wonderful relationship. During a bride’s appointment I can call or text and get answers for bride’s in real time. They care about their brides, their stores and the quality and construction of every gown.

We’ve been in the new space a little over a month and it’s everything we hoped it would be. It’s very much like moving into a new home - there seems to be endless paint touch ups, constant rearranging and always and forever hunting for the right size chair.

Cheers to 70 degree afternoons, tulips blooming and gorgeous floral dresses. Olivia was exquisite in her gown - a ruched crepe dress with off the shoulder cap sleeves and buttons extending the length of her chapel train. The windows were revealed today and Oh My - the natural light! We have 3 fast paced weeks a head of us. This week it’s all about trim work. Next week, the sidewalk, ramp and retaining walls will be poured. The building will have its final layer of stucco and become a lovely shade of white. In the final week - light fixtures, wallpaper, flooring and all the pretty things will make this space Bellissima’s home.

I love the mix of new and old, a classic with a twist, a custom piece, making sure that personal style is reflected and celebrated.
