Another great sold out event at the historic McConnell house. We appreciate all of the people who continue to support our non-profit. We just couldn't do it without you.

Mystik Dan was the winner at Churchhill Downs, but the McConnell house crowd was the winner in Greenup County.

Everyone looks forward to the hat contest on the front porch. This year, the winner was Susan Orsack. CONGRATUATIONS!!

The May 4th Kentucky Derby party at the historic McConnell House is getting closer. We are close to selling out, but still have 12 tickets available on a first come first serve basis. See the attached flyer and give us a call and we'll put them back for you.

We are still on cloud 9 over the success of our Spring teas, but we're already planning for our next event which is the Kentucky Derby party on May 4th?

The tables will be sagging with food including the famous Kentucky burgoo. You will be able to view all the prerace activities and the race on big screen tvs. The crowd becomes very active when the horses break the gate and everyone has a favorite that they're cheering on.

The hat contest on the front porch is also one of the favorites as well as the stick horse race on the front lawn.

Tickets are limited, so be sure to call and reserve yours now.

The second Spring Tea for March is now in the book and it was another great success. The Board Members, volunteers and the students from Raceland High School did a great job of serving our guests. We have so many supporters who have supported us through a variety of fundraisers and we appreciate them. Now we start planning for our Derby party on May 4th.
