About 3 weeks ago, I was approached by a representative of a school in our area (Soneike High School). The lady came into the shop and asked for me "JP Oliphant".

I came to the front of the shop to meet her. She asked if I am able to assist the school by donating one of my Podiums, as they do not have one. I replied and said yes, I will gladly do so.

So last week Thursday I surprised them on Ascension Day during their school assembly with their Podium, we also laser cut their school emblem, and attached it onto the podium.

But there was one more thing that caught my eye. I noticed a friend of mine that came with his sound equipment to the school. And I asked a teacher that was present with me; “Is the school hiring that?” and he said yes. I was like wow! I can't believe this. As soon as I came back to the shop, I made a few phone calls to a few business friends of mine, explaining what I have just witnessed. I believe the school should not be hiring this equipment - they should have their own.

Friday morning, I have received a call from the owner of Amazing Things, he told me JP I have just dropped off 2 speakers, 10m cable, amplifier and a mic at your shop. Please deliver this at Soneike High School🙌🏼

This morning, I delivered these items and they were overwhelmed, I told them on behalf of me, Oliphant Decor And Hire will sponsor their 2024 Matric Ball, along with 7 other business I have involved in this🙌🏼
