I was borne & raised in Potchefstroom, a small town on the banks of the “Mooi River”, North West Province, South Africa. It was there where my creative spirit already unlocked as a young Afrikaans boy & I graduated in Communication studies. In 1999 after executing many weddings & corporate events I launched Bridex SA, the biggest 1st National Wedding Exhibition in South Africa. I did extensive travelling expanding my frame of reference & successfully showcased the 1st South African participation at Toronto Fashion week in 2002, featuring only the best of South African Haute Couture. In 2004 I was privileged to partner with KWV and fashion designer Darrol Buckton to host Bridex SA at Loborie Wine Estate in Paarl, Western Cape. I then took a sabbatical from the Industry but I always dreamed of getting my creative juices flowing again...and here I am, back at last.
