It’s an incredible Winter weekend here at the Adelaide Showground! Coming up tomorrow is LUZIA by Cirque du Soleil, AVCon: Adelaide’s Anime & Video Games Festival, Gilles Street Market’s Food Truck Frenzy, and of course, Adelaide Showground Farmers Market (sourdough crumpets, anyone?).

If you’re heading to the Showground tomorrow (because why wouldn’t you?), our usual parking will be available but consider making the most of the train, tram and bus services right on our doorstep to ensure an easy journey!

Today on ANZAC Day we pay our respects to all of those who have served and continue to serve to protect our nation. We will remember them. Lest we forget.

The Adelaide Showground was occupied by the Armed Forces for the duration of the Second World War as the mobilisation, training and subsequent demobilisation centre.

It is Gather Round weekend!

To celebrate, Adelaide Showground Farmers Market is running a workshop for kids where they can decorate their own Guernsey Shaped Cookie in their favourite sports team colours using edible paint markers. Limited spots are available, so get in early. The workshop is FREE for kids (Donations welcome) and will take place between 10-11 am in the Market Pavilion at the Eastern end. No bookings required but adult supervision is essential.

The market is open Sunday, 8:30am - 12:30pm.

❗ The Farmers’ Market will be taking place from their old home on Leader Street for this Sunday only

⭐️ ️ All Farmers’ Market shoppers are encouraged to park in the Leader Street carpark or on the Main Arena (entry via Leader Street boom gate).

❗ Due to the event, there will be no access to the Farmers’ Market from Rose Terrace, or any other entry point on the Showground except for Leader Street

⭐️ Let’s Go Caravan and Camping parking is available from Rose Terrace and Leader Street carparks, as well as the Main Arena (entry via Leader Street boom gate). Please see map for your nearest entry points.

❗ Let’s Go Caravan and Camping parking is a flat rate of $15 with CARD ONLY payments.
