We're very privileged and honoured to have Sara from Ocher Bee doing the Acknowledgement of Country at HER Festival 2023

As I stand in front of these beautiful Bonyi

I reflect on the 2 Bonyi we grew up with on Butchalla Country these 2 beauties stood strong beside about 8 Norfolk and the spiky hugs from these gorgeous trees were some of the most grounded moments of my life...

These 4 foot gerth at bottom Bonyi sadly were taken out by neighbours who only verbally said never to be chopped. Ha the things we learn... a man's word is sometimes his weakest asset... Not for others though ...

I do reflect on the strength and beauty these gave us, our family

Many light hose sprinkler sits in the shade.

Stops to cool off the DS80...

These are part of the heart of these lands and the energy these beautiful Bonyi carry is magical... significant..., deep... Connection...

Love to know what we can all do for the rust fungi that seems to be present...

Something I would like us all to learn about once the solutions and answers are found... I would like to take time to keep you informed...

Thanks Mum for the reminders every Xmas holidays through till first term weeks... Keep aware of falling Bunya.......

International Women's Day is rapidly approaching which means HER Festival is also returning. It will be on Sunday 5th March 2023.

This year the markets will be held at the Home Maker Centre in Maroochydore (Off Maroochy Blvd). This is an excellent site for vendors as it is indoors with a high volume of people visiting the surrounding shops.

The markets will run from 10:00am until 3:00pm.

If yourself, or any other female vendor you know is interested in holding a stall at the HER Festival markets, please see the following registration link for more information.

https://herfestival.com.au/stall-holder/

You can also contact Kevin on 0408 975 271 if you would require more information.

Let's work together to create a strong event that truly empowers women.

20/01/2023

Only a few weeks left until HER festival 2023. There has been plenty of interest in the market.
If you are a woman interested in promoting your business, selling your product, or displaying your craft work...contact us and we will help book a site for the market

The 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 planning team endeavors to provide a fun and safe event for the participants.👊 👊 💪 💪 We are working very hard to achieve this. However, due to the nature of the event, there are some messages that we would like everyone to know.

📢 📢 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆:

Participants with food allergies. Please be aware that food provided during the event may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, or wheat. While we take steps to minimize risk and safely handle the foods that contain potential allergens, please be advised that cross-contamination may occur, as factors beyond our reasonable control may alter the formulations of the food we serve, or manufacturers may change their formulations without our knowledge.

𝗧𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆:
1. please clearly label the food, particularly if contains soy, eggs, nuts, etc
2. Encourage hot cooked/baked food only
3. No raw food permitted
4. Bring your own plates and cutleries if you can

📢 📢 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗-𝟭𝟵 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡:

To prevent the spread:

Ø stay at home when unwell, even with mild respiratory symptoms
Ø physically distance (staying >1.5 m away from others)
Ø use hand hygiene (and avoid touching your face and surfaces that may be contaminated)
Ø use cough etiquette/respiratory hygiene
Ø wear a face mask when you can’t maintain physical distancing.

Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, we have put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, we cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19.

Research shows that introducing another language to a child when they are at a preschool age enables them to master both languages much easier. Mastering more than one language will benefit a child in many aspects of their lives, and can often boost success in their future career development.

(FREE Mandarin textbooks and PinYin phonics books will be provided after enrolment.)

This Prep Class is geared towards both native and non-native learners, these sessions develop strong listening and speaking skills in Mandarin. Adding a further layer to learning, we also start to introduce basic characters and the Pinyin phonics. This is taught through a range of fun and immersion activities, including rhymes, mini-stories, learning games, hand-on activities and etc.
Please contact us for the details.
