Risotto? Sadly I realised too late that the risotto cupboard was bare 🤔a bag of orzo happily obliged. You all know this but home cooking is also about making do with what's available. Italian Pork and Fennel Sausage with Porcini mushroom risotto - great to make do!

Cranberry & Yogurt Breakfast Muffins with Orange Rind and Slivered Almonds
I love having muffins for breakfast, plain with jam or baked with fruit, spices and nuts - don't you? There is something so lovely about mixing up a quick batter and 25 mins later eating them too hot to hold :) My kids have learnt the art of holding very hot food and still being able to devour something yummy - our modern life of work and school on the run...

BTW if you prefer your baked goods egg free, diary or nut free many of my recipes can be supplied excluding these items with no compromise on the flavour - lets talk about.

Im testing meals for the new menu in November.
Tarragon Chicken with roasted potatoes, escallots and peas.
This is a lovely fresh dinner served alongside perfectly formed baby peas and gravy. Im looking forward to November already...

What are tea cakes I hear you say, they are lovely decorative cakes perfect for morning teas, afternoon teas, desserts even if you feel like it. I make large batches of these - 30 at a time. They are very moorish and are gone in no time.

This version is Orange Blossom, Cardamon and Pistachio - delicious! I don't know why but each time I make these I'm thinking of the ancient gardens of Persia it must be the orange blossom; keep a look out for Rose Water, Pepper and Lime next time keeping with the Persian themes...

Large 20cm or 10cm Individual flourless callebaut chocolate cakes (GF) ....these babies are about to be delivered for testing and then they will be added tomorrow.

Large cakes $32 or small ones $8 definitely require eating immediately as they are too good to leave for tomorrow.
