" 💕 Freedom starts with Happiness 💕

Benoit + Bo's flags decorated the rue des pierres during the 4 weeks of In the Streets. This work includes twelve artistic flags which express freedom through the expression of love and joy. During these troubled international times, they intend to show the strength of communities which recognise and communicate with each other using the international digital language of emojis.

The title of this installation comes from the song Jazz Soul by the group Stone Foundation “Freedom starts with Happiness.”"

On the WALK trail, you will find plenty of art.

In the rue haute , you only have to look up to admire Ledia Kostadini's artwork "Stairsteps to stairways". The work is an echo of traditional Flemish architecture, more specifically the so-called 'stepped gables'. These flexible pieces of architecture build a colourful passage under the sky of the rue haute.
