This is probably one of my favourite types of portraits. I grew up hooked on the magazine style photoshoots that you see in magazines like GQ or Vogue. There is a trust on the part of the subject to have the photographer capture them in such a way that is beautiful. .feather is good at extending this trust and great results are captured!

This was shot in the first condo that I owned, it had an amazing south facing window that got the best light in the evening and made for some lovely warm portraits. .feather has this effortless quality to her modelling that is really hard to achieve and it shows in the photos.

From the archives, this shoot was 15 years ago… things have changed a lot since then. .feather and I started working together way back then and I have had the pleasure of shooting her several times since that time. I’ll be posting some of the shots we have done over the years. It is interesting to see changes in my photography and Elise over time.
