Spending every weekend (Saturday & Sunday) and at least 3 days in a week taking photos for almost 2 months now, results in files and files waiting to be edited and delivered.

And I think I chose the best week to do that with all the rain in the forecast.

Is it just me or did these 7 months of 2024 just flew by! I can’t really comprehend how it’s already August!

Also I have to admit that I have been so busy lately, that it’s no wonder I still think it’s June.
My day started very early today with two family sessions in Banff and I am officially starting my relax routine before Saturday’s big wedding in Canmore.

How are you spending these warm summers days?

This summer I am literally spending at least two days/week in the mountains. Sometimes more or the whole weekend. Like this one.

If this amazing trend continues I will start looking for a new house there 😆

That said if you want some photos with mountains in the background here are my still available dates:

- July 28th (4-5pm & 5-6pm) Lake Minnewanka/Two Jack Lake

What a month this has been. Weddings, couples and family sessions, my sister visiting, stampede, er visits, drives to the mountains, drives to all around Alberta… I just couldn’t find the time or energy to post on Instagram… Instead I enjoyed the little things and being present in the moment.

My suggestion to all photographers when editing reception photos. Don’t edit them hungry. Always have a cake or chocolate nearby.
