To all our Royal Customers, our Community we want to say BIG THANK YOU for all your continued support and partnership, you are the reason we have reached this far. To all reaching out this past week and jumping inn to help us in any way BIG THANK YOU! Our hearts goes out to our staff no words and BIG apologies.
We have now moved out of 46 James St N location. Afrolicious is still Open for business for Full-Service Catering in all levels please continue to contact us for all catering inquiries.
We are working on reimagining our restaurant business plan, and are now actively looking for a new manageable location.
To put a stop to all inaccurate reporting circulating around on reason of our eviction as the landlord completely breached our privacy once they posted an amount for public view without any explanation. Yes we were behind in rent by 2 months and we were making every effort to settle the balance, this landlord demanded back rent plus accelerated rent payments which is a condition on the lease Agreement due late payments. We could not come up with the funds within 5 days and that resulted to our lease been terminated. The 63K posted for public view is the total including the accelerated 3 months rent which now covers all the lease breakage costs.
Many small businesses are currently struggling to operate at a time of high inflation, economic uncertainty and operating costs rising exponentially. They need extra support right now and I hope you get out and support them.
Regardless of the loss we are looking forward to what the future holds for Afrolicious and we can’t thank you enough again for your support.
