Installation of Extension Mine map

Another sneak peek! This 15 ft long piece was a challenge to mount, but our team found a way! This map of Extension numbers 2 and 3 mines was used while they were in operation, and would have been available for employees to reference - as a result, it has a light film of coal dust, in addition to fascinating insights into the mine layout! Installation of EJ Hughes' Works

We're getting ready for the opening of Extension, BC: Divided in Solidarity! Here's a sneak peek at the installation of two works by E.J. Hughes, landscape painter who spent his childhood in Nanaimo. Corey Bryson from the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria came by to hang these for us - we're thrilled with the result, and can't wait until Friday opening!
