Register now for our upcoming workshop: Quinoa salad in two different ways !! Presented by our friendly duo community leaders, Angela and Erma!
Angela and Erma became good friends through our BCCF Urban Harvest program.
Angela is passionate about cooking and worked professionally as a freelance chef and a nutrition coordinator. She continues to be involved in community projects in our Jane and Finch community that center seniors so they are able to stay connected to each other.
Erma also engages with urban agriculture opportunities at the farm and the San Romanoway neighbourhood. She seeks spaces that allow her to be outdoors and enjoy her natural surroundings. Previously, she has ran food workshops teaching community members about preservation and canning.
Both of our guests this week will be teaching us about nutritious and health food options for seniors and we will be learning how to make Quinoa salad in two different ways.
Join us on Wednesday August 12 to learn these recipes, and engage in conversations about food justice!
Registration link is in bio! The workshop will take place live on Zoom, at 2pm EST. You need to register to get the Zoom details! Looking forward to sharing and learning with you all!
