Freelance floral designer based in Victoria, BC. With a focus on using local flora and artistic expression, I create everything from everyday arrangements, plants for your home, to creations for special events such as weddings. My designs focus on movement and the natural shape of nature. I try to limit my impact on the environment as much as possible through sourcing local flowers as well as choosing more environmentally friendly material.s

Last night I had the amazing opportunity to be a part of ‘s international women’s day event.
This incredible organisation supports survivors of human trafficking all over the world 🖤 this first picture is me and two of my friends who work there. Through their friendship I’ve been able to hear stories from survivors they’ve met as they’ve personally visited the safe houses and met with survivors.
The work they do is incredible and so important.

I was honoured to create this installation for the event, and huge thanks to who generously discounted the flowers 🖤

I am so happy I went with Alicia’s Florals for our wedding. Alicia is friendly, professional and creative. From the initial consultation, the proposal with visuals to the final product, Alicia puts thought and care into every aspect of her work. I also really like that Alicia gets flowers from local farms. The florals for our fall wedding were absolutely gorgeous! Alicia created beautiful bouquets incorporating fall colours and movement. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants beautiful florals and great customer service. Thank you Alicia!!

The bouquets ♥️
A lot of time and effort goes into making bouquets - from choosing the colour palette and specific flowers to calculating stems for ordering and finally bringing it all together - they are challenging but one of the most seen floral creations at weddings.

Kathleen wanted the bouquets to be full of texture and in a fall palette so I sourced these beautiful fall flowers such as amaranth, Queen Anne’s lace seed pods, and grasses to add texture. Various dahlias, zinnias and cosmos added colour and the burgundy ninebark foliage and eucalyptus complimented it all beautifully 💫

purchased these beautiful specialty daffodils at the local grocery store and they’re heavenly ✨ They’re smaller than typical difficult and have a lovely delicate scent 🌼

I’ve been finding it hard to be present on social media these days. Low motivation to post and connect through this app, yet also being inspired by all the amazing florists out there in the world. So here’s a little post to say hello! I’m still here, but maybe a bit quieter than normal. Hope you’re all doing well out there 👋🏻

This will be my sixth year offering wreath workshops! One of my favourite things to teach, it requires no previous experience 🖤

Saturday December 3rd - 11am or 2pm come join me at a beautiful farm where we’ll create in a greenhouse while eating treats and enjoying holiday music 🎄

The farm is on the Langley/ Surrey border and so you can spend some time in Fort Langley before or after the workshop.

Came home from my trip to Europe (France + Spain!) on Monday and jumped right into two events this week - Gala for (an amazing organizing helping survivors of human trafficking) and a wedding this Saturday!
