Tuce Alba (1996, Turkiye) is an architect, musician, and sound artist living in Istanbul/Berlin. She uses various elements and techniques to build performative spatio-temporal experiences and audio-visual narratives through sound. Her works explore the textural details created by the relationship of sound and space, improvised spatial compositional structures based time. As an experienced “ney” player, she also conducts acoustic research on manipulating the limitations of traditional instruments.

In another lifetime, he was that sweet kid from Chicago who stole our hearts with his aw-shucks Midwestern attitude and his knack for writing catchy old-time melodies, who legendary critic Jessica Hopper once called the city’s “greatest new homegrown musical enigma”. As for today, Jimmy Whispers is alive and well in Los Angeles. He's still making music—quite a lot of it. He's got a blossoming new career as a music video director and filmmaker. He’s become a co-writer for others including Drugdealer and Dent May. He’s got a side hustle as a valet parking attendant, a 1988 Buick Reatta, and a new commitment to making life-affirming art.

With her debut solo EP, Blur Divine, Paris-based American musician Julia Gaeta invites listeners into a nocturnal world of introspective yet danceable ‘unlove’ songs. Blending lush dark pop with industrial textures and sultry grit, Blur Divine explores the warped perception, fragmented reality and obsession that comes with love gone awry – but drapes these more sinister themes in an ethereal, fragile veil.
Growing up listening to metal, grunge, post-punk and goth music, Gaeta inevitably carries with her the influences of bands such as Alice in Chains, Depeche Mode and Killing Joke. But she also draws from her deep love of ‘90s and early ‘00s pop and hip-hop – plus the era of big production they helped usher in.

Gaeta has now teamed up with LA-based producer Alex DeGroot – best known for his work with Zola Jesus – to expand her sonic landscape. Laced with massive beats, distorted synths, echoing guitars and Gaeta’s undeniable vocal depth, Blur Divine reels us in immediately and intimately, and beckons us to follow a path into realms oddly familiar yet unexplored.
Julia Gaeta plans to tour her EP in the second half of 2024 and into 2025. She is also beginning work on an LP.

The Shivas have been called “the hardest working band in show business”. While that is impossible to measure, it’s also not far from the truth. Since their humble beginnings as high-school best friends almost two decades ago (the band formed in 2006), they have been grinding away tour after tour - visiting over 25 countries - and album after album - this is their 10th LP. Their sound has always evolved as they have grown, and worked with different labels and producers, but it has always stayed true to the psychedelic vision those kids had years ago at the very beginning.
They say their new album Can’t Stop Coming Around (Tender Loving Empire Records) is their favorite, and represents their sound the best of any in their discography. It makes sense considering they recorded it themselves at their home studio ‘FFF’ in Portland, Oregon. Teaming up with Collin Hegna (Brian Jonestown Massacre, Federale - someone the band has worked with on and off since 2010), they say this is the closest they’ve ever come to hitting the bullseye in the studio.
Now with Can’t Stop Coming Around slated for release this summer, the band will embark on tours of Europe (one in June and another in September), then in the USA hitting the West Coast in July and August, and the East Coast later this fall. As a group that has always tried to lead with honesty and to shake off any airs of pretense, The Shivas have come into their own

The Seattle rock combo, led by frontman Guy Keltner, will be performing at 8MM Bar as a part of their Fall '24 European Tour. Invoking a dark rock-psych trip to the likes of 'The Doors' mixed with the glitter glam boogie of 'T-Rex', Acid Tongue distills their unique mind blowing potion that has made them one of Seattle's wildest live rock acts and also important representatives of the new sounds from the Pacific North West.

Stanze Fredde is a cold and independent label that we created in the thermal shock of Turin.
We were born with the need to bring this type of music to this desolate land where nothingness reigns.
Let's look at the past with bright eyes to bring it back to the future in a more conscious way, the present is mechanical!

RUHR Is a project born between Verona and Berlin, mixing rough analog synth sounds inspired by the beginning of the minimal noise experimental wave in the 70's and the need of violent dance moves coming from the repetitive structures of early EBM.
The project describes a schizophrenic feeling of running through an underground tunnel while neon lights create geometrical symmetries.
Minimal aestethic, high contrasts and screamed dadaistic and political lyrics portrait a vision of a sensual industrial soundscape and the need of social riot.

Austrian duo MOLLY returns with their second album, Picturesque, released on vinyl, CD and digitally via Sonic Cathedral on January 13, 2023.

The album’s seemingly brief tracklisting belies a work of great beauty and depth, and one which turned into a one-man crusade for singer/guitarist Lars Andersson, intertwining deeply personal stories with his love for the era of Romanticism.
“Every time I go to a museum and I’m about to pass through the era of Romanticism I stop in awe,” says Lars of the enduring appeal of the 18th century artistic movement. “Whatever it is – stories, paintings, music – it triggers something deep within me, something profoundly human. It really hits a nerve, and it utterly immerses me to a point where I can’t move.”
The album replicates this feeling; a gloriously over-the-top blend of Slowdive and Sigur Rós, mixed with the single-mindedness of Daniel Johnston and the noisiness of Nirvana, it’s as bold and beautiful and every bit as ornate as the art that inspired it.

Never more so than on the first single, ‘The Golden Age’, which is the album’s centre-piece, a soaring slice of über-shoegaze that is so stunning you can’t take your eyes or ears off it.

FOOLS GOLD is a compilation of remixes based around the SOLID GOLD and Charmed by the Snake records The Tarts released in 2023. The record features some top minds from various corners of the underground, reusing and recycling the Tart’s material to make their own take on it. This results in a diverse collection of tracks, ranging from club ready bangers to pchizoid experimental electronics to fried out dubby meditations.
