We are so proud of our young chef Alan for competing at the Hospitality Training Aberdeen Young Chef of the Year Awards and receiving a bronze medal grade!🥉

Alan has been with us for almost 2 years and has been competing in many competitions in that time including Scothot winning 2 silver medals🥈🥈

We are very lucky to have such talent here at Raemoir!

Alans dishes this year were

Starter: scallop risotto with sea fennel and a champagne beurre blanc

Main: Glenmuick estate venison, red cabbage pierogi, wild mushroom duxelles encased in a courgette and carrot parcel with asparagus and parsnip puree

Dessert: white chocolate pana cotta encased in dark chocolate accompanied by sweet rhubarb

Paper & Petals did a beautiful job here adding some warmth and colour to Sophie & Chris’ February wedding, the split arch meant it could be moved and used elsewhere for more photo opportunities 📸

Rarely does our Oval Ballroom get used for a Wedding Dinner but we love the outcome each time it is. ❤️

The crystal glasses and gold cutlery just add that extra bit of uniqueness to the table and brings a real sense of fine dining 🍷

This beautiful set up was provided for Suzi and JB's wedding by Higher Calling Flowers & Events Ltd., they always put so much time into what they create and end up with mind-blowing results! 🤯

Have your “happily ever after” here at Raemoir!

This couple set up photo opportunities in our Woodland Cathedral using all sorts of props from our stock but when we received the photos we couldn't believe the fabulously casual results. This is one of our favourites which made it into our brochures! 😍

What can we say? Well, it’s not “keep the dogs off the sofa” as no-one ever hears it, particularly the well-dressed Basil! Our two labs are the same, one word from us and they do as they like.😂

Basil and his cute bow collar had done their duties for the day and were having a well earned nap!😴 No one with a heart could say “get down Basil”!

What a gorgeous cake! Made by The Fat Sparrow Bakery.😍

The staff had to have a lot of self-control. It was hard looking at this all day! Although the wait was worth it, it did taste AMAZING! The cupcakes were beautiful too.. Thank you to Mr & Mrs Corner leaving us a few!❤
