Good Morning Quizzers!

Sadly, I've made the decision to no longer write or hold the quiz at the John Gregory.

I believe they are still going ahead with one, so keep your eyes on their page for events.

A huge thank you to all the staff at the JG past and present who have helped accommodate my quiz and welcomed me and the quizzers so warmly, you guys are great!

Thank you to all of my quizzers who, week in week out, show up for my quizzes that have ranged from easy to hard, tasty to smelly, loud to quiet, random to silly and everything else. They've been eclectic if nothing else 😆

I have loved every single week of quizzing with you all and I hope you continue to enjoy any further quizzes and wish the new quiz mistress/master good luck and happy quizzing!

This means I'm looking for a venue who would like to host my weekly Quiz over the rest of November and December 😊

Afternoon Quizzers!!!

I'm sure by now those of you who are coming tonight have booked your table.

Tonight's special item for 5 extra points is something fluffy!

You may have seen the recent JG announcement regarding the work they're having done over the next few weeks. This means that unfortunately the quiz will be postponed for two weeks - the 17th and the 24th of November. They are really sorry for any inconvenience caused.
However, I may be able to get us a temporary home for those two weeks so watch this space 😊

If you have booked a table and don't think you'll make it, PLEASE can you call and cancel it? That way they can offer it to another team.

Another fantastic night at The John Gregory Quiz Halloween Special!! 🎃👻

We had Halloween general knowledge, Spooky themed music round, trick or treat homemade biscuits tasting, apple bobbing and scary movies!!

Plus, there was £60 to win our jackpot prize - next week it'll be £70!! 😳💰🤑 nobody this week knew that the sum of all the numbers on a roulette wheel add up to 666 👿

AND...we always have a bottle of wine as a prize for heads and tails 🍷

If you'd like to play next week, please call the JG and book your table ASAP. Tables are getting booked up quick, and if you can't make it but you've booked, please call to cancel so another team can come along 🦔

It's QUIZ night again tonight at The John Gregory from 7.30pm.

Last week unfortunately not everyone was able to get a table. Please, if you would like to do the quiz, please can you try to call ahead and book a table so you can be guaranteed a place. There is often space available for walk-ins but this can't be guaranteed. Also, if you have a table booked and you can't make it, please could you call to cancel it so it can be offered to another team. Thank you so much 🙏

Last week we had an overall prize fund of over £100!!! So, the more players, the bigger the prize fund!
