Loving that my old learn to draw book is inspiring the next generation too! I absolutely loved drawing pictures from this book and I’m sure it really made a difference to my drawings.

Whilst it screams the ‘90s the kids are loving it! 🥰 🥰

😁There’s plenty still to do but there is at least enough room to swing a cat now and I can find everything I need!!

I love how much clearing up my things helps clear up my mind too! ☺️

Painting with our hands,feet and other parts of our bodies....it's an ARTventurers fave! Our giant painting area provides the freedom and opportunity for our little artists to explore paint however they like, without the constraints of traditional painting tools. But why......? 👣👣👣👣👣👣👣
🎨It's tactile and sensory - our little ARTventurers can feel the texture of the paint on the soles of their feet and squidging between their fingers 🙂
🎨It's great for learning about cause and effect - they can see what happens when they get paint on their feet, hands, elbows, legs, toes....and then make prints on the paper
🎨It's an excellent opportunity for working on our gross motor skills, coordination....often a bit of balance is needed too!
🎨It's great for language development when we talk to our mini artists about what they are doing - fantastic words like "squish", "squidge", "gooey", squishy"......
🎨We can use it as an activity to learn about colour mixing
🎨It's a fabulously fun way of getting creative and exploring artistic expression
So next time you're at class and your little ARTventurer is whipping their socks off to plunge their feet into the paint, or starts painting their whole leg......just remember all of these fab things they're working on, the skills they are developing and everything that they're learning, all without realising it and simply having a ball!

Guess what has arrived?!! Super exciting and they all look amazing!I will drop everyone an email tonight with where to collect!🎵It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!🎵🎄 🎄

Each week in class we use lots of paint and always find fun ways to explore it, whether it’s with unusual tools or onto interesting textures.The possibilities are endless! 🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨

Our second Halloween session this week was a huge hit and we had lots of spooky fun!🕷️👻🎃 We painted wooden witches hats, made pumpkin paper plates and bubbly cauldron pictures as well as playing with witches slime and black rice. 🧙 🎃 A jam packed creative session! That’s a wrap now on half term! Term classes begin back in 2 weeks! I can’t wait to see you all again soon! 😊😊

What a fab way to spend Halloween! 🎃 🎃🎃 We had so much fun creating lots of spooky artwork today! I can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow in Biggleswade! 👻👻👻

🎃We had a Spooktacular time at our My First Halloween ARTventure today! The babies were brilliant and engaged in all their new experiences. The Bumpkins were a huge hit and we managed them all without any leakage!! 😂😂😂 Thank you all for joining me and I can’t wait for our Christmas My First ARTventure on 20th December! 🎄🎄🎄

🚗That’s a wrap on our Autumn term! We rounded it up with our last Transport themed session @biggtheatre 🚂There was so much spinning, painting and zooming of cars and many messy memories made! ✈️Thank you all so much for joining me and making our first term in our new Biggleswade venue such a success! ❄️Don’t forget to re-enrol if you haven’t already, and I look forward to seeing you for our Winter term in a couple of weeks!

What a crazy, fun and very creative class that was to end the term in Fairfield!! 😁😁🚗🚗🚗Our large painty area and bus cube were a massive hit and there were super amounts of spinning going on with the salad spinners!Thank you all for a fabulous term and I can’t wait to see you next term for even more fun!
