As the MET Office is predicting 40% rain this evening, the film Pirates of the Caribbean will be shown in the hall. Please still bring your picnics and something soft to sit on. The bar will be open.

Just to let everyone know, the showing of The Pirates of the Caribbean WILL still go ahead tomorrow, despite the English weather. There will be another announcement tomorrow on Facebook at midday to announce if the film is to be shown inside or outside. If the film is to be shown inside please still bring your cushions and blankets to sit on, there will be no chairs, as to keep with the picnic theme. The bar will be open & there will be an ice cream van on site.

Lights, Camera, Christmas!

What a GREAT evening! The atmosphere was fabulously festive, and Christmas has undoubtedly arrived in Burnham! A massive shout out to The Burnham Lions for their outstanding efforts with this event, Cllr Marie Hammon for switching on the lights and to all the performers, entertainers, the choir, the council, the BPH staff, Andy Webb for hosting, Rowland the brilliant and most of all, the Burnham community who came out to share in the evening. We truly are a great village, and we have every right to feel proud of that. Merry Christmas, Burnham! Christmas begins in Burnham! Come down to Burnham Park Hall for entertainment, music, mince pies, mulled wine and an amazing gin hot toddy developed by our own Deborah! The lights go on at 6:15 pm.
