I'm sure you can guess? Haha...
And probably have been anticipating quite a bit and wondering the same question. Where is the video?

Well, it's Valentine's Day Tomorrow 💌💕... February 14th...and quite a good time to be reminded and get inspired by the love that can exist on our planet, right? ✨❤️🌍🕊️

After all the movement was called for a reason.

Και μια αφορμή να ευχαριστήσω όλους όσους συμμετείχαν στη προσπάθεια να στείλουμε σκέψεις για έναν πιο ειρηνικό κόσμο, μέσα από τους στίχους ενός τραγουδιού και της συλλογικής μας σκέψης. Βλέποντας τα βίντεό που μου στείλατε για άλλη μια φορά, όσο συναρμολογώ την τελική εικόνα, μου δίνεται επίσης η ευκαιρία να εκφράσω κάτι που παρατήρησα: το θάρρος που δείξατε όλοι, να πείτε ‘ναι’ σε μια προσπάθεια που ζητούσε από εσας να μου στείλετε ο καθενας ένα βίντεο του εαυτου σας, σε πρώτη και αυθεντική λήψη, δίχως πρόβα, να τραγουδαει ένα τραγούδι που δεν είναι στη μητρική σας γλώσσα δείχνοντας μου εμπιστοσύνη και αναγνώριση της σημασίας της συλλογικότητας. Να τραγουδήσουμε, ερχόμενοι από διαφόρες άκρες της γης, για την Παγκόσμια Ειρήνη, στέλνοντας Αγάπη και Ειρήνη προς τον κόσμο και στις δικιές μας ψυχές. Ειναι σίγουρο ότι χωρίς την ενεργή συμμετοχή σας δεν θα είχαμε πετύχει τον σκοπό αυτόν. 🌍🕊️🗣️♥️

Επίσης εκτιμώ την υπομονή σας, φαντάζομαι ανυπόμονοι να δείτε το τελικό αποτέλεσμα. Λόγω κάποιων προσωπικών υποχρεώσεων και της υψηλής ζήτησης και συμμετοχής να μου στείλετε το βίντεο σας, ακόμη και μετά την προθεσμία, αποφάσισα να επεκτείνω την ημερομηνία κυκλοφορίας του ενοποιημένου βίντεο για την Παγκόσμια Ειρήνη.✨📯📅

COMING SOON!...✨📽️

This is also an opportunity to thank everyone who took part. Watching your videos on replay I want to recognise even more, how courageous you were in saying ‘yes’, with one take and no rehearsal. You truly shined your colours and be your authentic selves in front of the camera. Like the rest of us, you recognised the importance of such an event, making you want to sing for World Peace, no matter what it takes. And thanks to you I am now in the process of orchestrating all our voices. 🎶🎵👥❣️

Due to having to take care of some personal responsibilities and the demand the event has shown, some of you asking to participate after the deadline, I was open to extending the date of the launch of the video. With the new release date to be announced soon. 📅📯✨

The video aims to show its authenticity, and like Peace itself, it is not rehearsed, as life is not a rehearsal, it just happens. The importance of the video is not to be able to sing with a good voice. The importance of this video is the number of voices that stand together from around the world, with the same aim and thought. Sending Love and Peace to the world and our hearts.🌍🕊️🗣️♥️

Cardiff ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

On Saturday 25th November 2023 at 11.11 am, in Cardiff, Wales the in-person event of took place. This comes with the opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for the presence of:

Jill Gorrin, for her attendance on the event day, and more importantly her continuous presence and invaluable advice during the organisational procedures of the event and her significant role in the direction decided to lead towards.

Katie Griffiths Gilmour (coordinator of the Interfaith Choir in Wales and a talented Welsh musician) With her attendance on the day and bringing out the colours from the music. As well as her openness to support our initiative and willingness, we were able to invite members of the choir to participate in the event and look out for possible collaborations within the group in order to expand the network.

Susie Ventris-Field (Chief Executive of WCIA) and the Welsh Centre for International Affairs, who were open to our idea and hosting our in-person event at the Temple of Peace, ‘Wales National Garden of Peace’ - it could not have been a more ideal place for such occasion and for the message to start spreading from.

THE STORY OF THE PEACE GARDEN - WCIA:

It all started in 1988, when Robert Davies former founder of UNA Exchange, turned the 'Wales Garden of Peace' idea into a reality. With the support of 20 international youth exchange volunteers.

WHY THE PEACE GARDEN?

The Peace Garden like the WCIA recognises, it is a public space dedicated to Wale's Peacemakers -ordinary people who have done extraordinary things to build a better world.

This comes to explain why Cardiff finds it such a symbolic place to hold the event in. With similar thoughts, one more time to stand with Peace and spread it from Wales to the world in 2023, through our Cardiff Voices singing along to peace and 'healing the world', just a little, with our collective thoughts.

With this said looking forward in hearing your voices tomorrow, sung like one♥️

The Cardiff Event's purpose is aligned with the WCIA values. It is a one-off event singing for general World Peace (non-political, not taking sides). With the aim to raise our human voices, and inspire and send peace, joy and love out to the world. At a time when our humanity is asking for it from many corners of the earth.

It is joining the voices of Cardiff, Wales, UK (in-person event) and its global singers (virtually) singing ‘Heal the World’(a song sung by 35,000 people at the Super Bowl XXVII halftime in the US in 1993). What better time to recreate it?

Join us at our in-person event at the Peace Gardens, Temple of Peace, Cardiff. Lyrics and music will be provided on the day. All you need to do is be there and sing along to ‘Heal the World’ with our Cardiff’s voices.

1 WEEK TO GO…and the World will need your Voice! 🌍❤️🕊

On Saturday 25th November join and sing along in Cardiff (Wales, UK) and Worldwide for World Peace!

The plan is to join our voices (as many as possible; as many voices as we can reach!) and for 15mins sing along to the legendary ‘Heal the World’ that was once sung in 1993 by 35,000 people. Doesn’t this sound like a nice dream to re-create and a memory to keep?

So, what do you think, would you like to take part?
Honestly, you do not have to be a good singer. The importance is the power of the collective voices and not whether you have a talent in singing or not (you will find out soon I am not such a great singer myself - Serena). Our collective human voices and the lyrics are the important part in this case!

This event was initiated by Serena herself. Like many of us, Serena finds the times we are living crucial to our humankind. As you will hear her say many times ‘We are all connected’,

In this case, it means that in some way or another the global news we may hear currently, happening around the world, somewhat have an emotional impact on all of us. We are all humans who are connected to other humans. And surely we can recognise that the words such as love, happiness, grief, pain, death, birth, safety, war, and peace each carry a certain energy, positive and negative, that can impact greatly, us humans. No matter where we are and the language we speak, we can understand those energies, as we feel.

So, here comes the idea of . It is a little seed we are planting, but the idea is to send our love, peace, and empathy out to the world at a time when our fellow humans are clearly asking for it, whether we hear them on the news reports or not. It is never too much to send a little love and peace out to the world if we have some inside of us to share. The power of collectiveness can bring great changes, as the pure definition of democracy has also shown.

Let our human voices be heard by the leaders of our World!
Peace Can't Wait.

With the focus is on the message and the volume of the voices, not who delivers it.

WHO?

Meet Serena Katerina Tzortzaki-Davies who…
Is the Organising Committee Chair of Cardiff - Singalong event on 25th November 2023, Cardiff City Centre

Serena’s idea for this event is highly influenced by her involvement in previous long-term and short-term humanitarian projects from her time in Greece, Norway, and beyond. All with the common purpose to bring a sense of unity between us and our world…

A Changemaker, Cardiff-born, Serena is 24 years old.

Her most recent project is EuroPedals (2021 - 2022). A 14-month bicycle journey, 8,000km, crossing the borders of 9 countries, from Norway to S.Morocco. Connecting more than 650 people with a mission to promote sustainable travel and breaking through man-made borders for the unity of nations. 🌍🚵‍♀️🚵🐨✨

Her new venture, Cardiff puts Cardiff and Wales on the map, as a city linked to World Peace.

Other humanitarian projects include:

🌎🍃 EarthTalks - Taking Action for a Sustainable Now (2020) based on the UN SDGs with keynote speakers: FN-Sambandet-UN Association of Norway, Former Priminister of Norway, Mr. Kjell Magne Bondevik, Red Cross of Trondheim-Fellesverket, In The Same Boat. Eco, Norway, and Nature Conservation Association (or Friends of the Earth, Norway), just to name a few.

🌎🎙📰 3 Investigation Field Trips took place during 2020 - 2021. With the mission to unfold social and humanitarian issues in society. Project Titles: "Sustainability & Education, Norway" (2021), "Gas & Oil on a social, political and environmental level, Cyprus" (2020), and "Immigration & Inclusion in the Society of Norway" (2020)

🌏🫂Participating in two Erasmus+ Events: - E(ducation) Motion, Ureki, 21 Oct - 1 Nov in Georgia (2019) and Out Loud Virtual Training Course, Training to become a Youth Worker (2021)

🌎🤝💛Volunteer at the 'Red Cross Trondheim - Fellesverket', Norway. Working with teenagers coming from minority and immigrant backgrounds in Norway (2021)

🌍📚💫Volunteer at 'One World Institute' - a Humanitarian Organisation and Training Space for Global Changemakers, based in Norway (2019-2021)

🧠🚀After graduating from her Greek Secondary Education in Greece, Serena gained her Diploma in Creative Advertising at the University of Lincoln, UK (uncovering the use of behavioral psychology and change), as well as being nominated by Badass.Gal & Young Creative Council, UK for her originality in the Creative World (2018)
