As the son of the legendary Jack Bruce from Cream, Malcolm has a deep well to draw from when it comes to the Blues and Rock traditions. This special show will take a look at the history of British rhythm and blues, from the early days of Alexis Korner’s Blues Incorporated, through the Graham Bond Organisation, John Mayall, Cream and beyond, taking the tradition forward into uncharted territory.
Malcolm has performed, toured or appeared on record with Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, his father Jack Bruce, Joe Bonamassa, Elton John, Paul Rodgers, Leslie West, Steve Cropper, Ozzy Osbourne, Lulu, Mick Taylor, Bernie Marsden and many others in a career that is in some ways only just beginning.. watch this space for great things to come.. and catch this powerful trio as they perform as part of the true legacy of improvised, explorative blues..

We bring you the best in Live music as Blues & Roots in the City. It's Your Music and Black Frog. Our two main venues are The (UB) the United Brethren pub in Chelmsford and Chelmsford City Football Club. The UB is always a free to enter the venue and has live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Blues & Roots in the City is Monthly on a Thursday night but we help to book most of the other events there as well.
