Home for Good - June Events
Home for Good is organising a series of events in June that aim to address racial disparity in the care system and explore how local church communities can advocate for justice for #Blackchildren in need of care.
We are thrilled to announce a very special event taking place in #London, #Bristol, and #Birmingham this June! Join us for an evening filled with #creativity and meaningful conversations as we delve into the experiences and requirements of the countless children in our communities who are patiently awaiting a suitable home.
Together, we will explore how each one of us can contribute to their well-being.
This issue is a matter of justice, and it is one that deeply concerns #HomeforGood. As part of our commitment, throughout June, we will be hosting a series of evenings featuring Dr-Pearl Jarrett, a highly accomplished businesswoman, philanthropist, speaker, and actor, who has showcased her talents in national TV advertisements such as Natwest Bank and Esty. She is also a singer and a dedicated agent of positive change.
Event Tour Dates:
* South London - Friday 9th June 2023.
* Birmingham - Saturday 11th June 2023.
* Bristol - Saturday 17th June 2023.
* North London - Saturday 24th June 2023.

Zoe Films presents - #UnknownCrisis
It’s a simple case of cause and effect. #Hope dies and our #dreams with it! Sooner or later we resign ourselves to the situation and stop hoping for change. We embrace hopelessness. That is Simon’s life, a long series of disappointments.
Despite all his good intentions and best efforts, nothing is going right. His wife is ill and bed bound. The medical bills are crippling, and he is in debt. His son John is #rebellious and hell-bent and self-destructive. Simon’s only source of joy is Anne, his #beautiful teenage daughter. One day, overwhelmed by disenchantment and #depression and having reached the breaking point, Simon confides in a stranger he meets in a park.
Simon begins his journey back to hope, but nothing can prepare him for what he is about to discover! The shock he will feel - when he discovers the real and unseen cause of all his troubles.

Zoe Films presents Prophetic Prayer

Storyline
Pastor George is a #minister of the gospel of #JesusChrist. He is a businessman, a philanthropist, a helper and builder of the Kingdom of God. But he has enemies. He also has a #prophetic #gift. The enemy of his soul is against his #business, his ministry and his children's future. He has a great #destiny but must war in prayer to defend it. With the help of God and his #spiritual mentors,
Pastor George enters into another realm of spiritual #warfare he has never known. Having been aware of this and having had to fight for his life, he realises that there are #witchcraft powers in his #father's house, in his local church, in his business, and in his community he must deal with.
The film sets to portray the power violent prophetic prayers make available to those who would dig deep. In this journey of prophetic prayers, Pastor George employs various prayer warring tactics to fight against the kingdom of darkness. He has to fight for his life, destiny, calling, #ministry business, and children on all fronts. Will he win?

WE'RE LAUNCHING OUR SURVEY!
The following short survey seeks to gain a broader understanding of how churches have responded to issues of racial diversity since May 2020.
We recognise that data supports the ongoing discussions around racial diversity, so results from this survey (but not any personal data) will be available as a resource that will help churches that want to change, as well as individuals advocating for change.
We also recognise that its been hard for some to feel heard in these kinds of discussions.
Survey data won't give a complete picture but presents a doorway for expression; we've got plans for an overlapping project to capture stories and lived experience (later this year).
Here's Carmen Carrol (one of the team) to tell us more about the survey.
