A few years ago, I (Simon) turned to Gregg with stars in my eyes and announced, "I'm going to write a book!" The idea was buzzing around in my head, filled with visions of pages upon pages of insights, stories, and tips for wedding filmmakers and photographers. It was going to be epic—a resource that our community could dive into, learn from, and be inspired by.

But as I started to brainstorm and plan, something else began to take shape. We realised that while a book would be a fantastic project, we wanted something more dynamic, more in tune with the ever-changing world of wedding filmmaking and photography. We needed a space where we could regularly share new ideas, feature guest experts, and stay current with the latest trends and techniques.

So, instead of a book, we launched the Perspective by Cinemate Journal!

The journal is our digital hub, designed specifically for wedding photographers, videographers, and content creators like you. It’s packed with valuable insights, practical tips, and stories from the trenches that you won’t find anywhere else. We wanted to create a resource that’s not only informative but also inspiring—a place where you can keep up with industry trends, refine your craft, and connect with a community that shares your passion for storytelling.

Whether you're just starting out or you're a seasoned pro, the Perspective by Cinemate Journal is here to support your journey. 🎉 Just wrapped up an incredible time at Photography Farm’s , and what a blast it was! 📸✨ We, Simon and Gregg, had the awesome opportunity to capture the event, diving into the heart of creativity and innovation.

The speakers were nothing short of inspirational, sparking ideas and conversations that left us buzzing with excitement. 🌟 Meeting and chatting with a plethora of new creatives, each bringing their unique spark to the table, was definitely the highlight. The air was electric with creativity, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the experience.

C : D, Cafe Cuill ||​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Embracing the classic Scottish weather, our latest adventure led us to the captivating Talisker Bay on the Isle of Skye, where the elements themselves add to the romance. 🌧️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Amidst the soft patter of rain and the dramatic dance of the clouds, we captured the heartwarming moments of a lovely couple against Skye's rugged and moody coastline.

The overcast sky and the misty sea air created a mystical backdrop, perfect for showcasing their love story. Each raindrop and gust of wind seemed to celebrate their union, adding a raw, natural energy to every shot. 🌬️💕

The group shots were equally enchanting, with friends and family laughing and huddling together, making the most of this uniquely Scottish experience. The cloudy skies and occasional rain only heightened the sense of togetherness and joy.
