Fresh seasonal flowers are a luxury it’s true but are the best thing to be surrounded by as you say your vows (IMO). Simply put - they look pretty, add colour and smell nice, and if you choose to invest in your flowers they will work so hard as a decoration - on the day, in the photos and forever after as the seasons roll around and you recognise one of your wedding flowers by look or scent and are transported back in time🫶

A woodland ceremony here from a couple of years ago - a special festival style venue in the Surrey hills.

Lovely to get my hands on a few flowers yesterday for a styled bridal shoot - a gentle bouquet of soft colours, beautiful roses, a touch of spring and garden-y bits too.

A really nice team to spend the day with, thanks for having me 💗

Beautiful bride Xanthe with her September wildflower bouquet I just loved making these flowers 🫶

I’ve been working on autumn proposals today, it’s hard to pick a favourite season as a florist but this one does tick a lot of my boxes - so much intense colour, interesting shapes and varieties and all grown nearby in Sussex. Message me for autumn wedding enquiries - it’s filling up now 🙏

Looking forward to getting my milk churns out again soon💥

These vintage French numbers are great option for a rustic outdoor wedding to frame your ceremony area and are easily moved to the reception to continue shining their light on your day! I have two available to hire - ask me all about them - they look good on old apple crates for extra height.

Here one is happily posing at a summer wedding and beautifully captured by 💚

A gentle colour palette for this spring bouquet - simplifying the colour but keeping the interest with different luxurious ruffle-y flowers and textures and spring favourites including ranunculus and spirea.

More spring weddings please universe - it’s the perfect time to get married! A time of hope, growth and new beginnings 💚

I’ve not exactly hit the ground running this January - anyone else? And honestly it’s been a bit of doozy and I feel like I’ve been ill for all of 2025 (dramatic me?!) But behind the scenes, I am really enjoying chatting to new couples and refining ideas for existing ones so keep it all coming - and thank you! 🎉

The fog is slowly clearing and I’m so excited for the season ahead which is full of beautiful colour palettes and gorgeous couples. Wintering first though (& accounting, website, blogs, and cleaning my studio from Xmas rush 🙈).

✨Happy new year✨- hope you’ve all had a wonderful start to 2025! It’s a funny time of year for a wedding florist, a little quiet, restful and reflective but lots to look forward to and plan for - website updates with 2024 imagery, new proposals, new finance systems (!), a blog or two and soon beautiful spring flowers like these in this cute little bouquet. Note the double tulips giving peony vibes, pretty ranunculus and anemones doing as they like and a few wild catkins thrown in as well 🫶

Engaged at Christmas or New Year? Or just revived by the start of January? Pop me a message to start chatting about your wedding flowers 👋

Still hoping I’ll get a 2024 farewell to all that reel in by tomorrow but in case not, here’s a quick post 👋…

2024 was a year to remember - here I’ve leaned into my love of colour, pushed eco flowers where possible, celebrated the personal details via flowers, learned to trust my instincts, flowered some gorgeous weddings and freelanced on even more 🫶 I also stopped offering ad hoc gift bouquets and focussed on weddings, events (and funerals) & my side hustle (this needs a big update - hello January!)🙏&- thank you to all my couples for trusting me on your biggest of days! ❤️

Looking forward to a busy 2025 and much more of the same - happy new year 🥳

Last push before Christmas! I have a stall tomorrow at the village market and today I’ve been mainly making table decorations. If you are in the market for one make it table decoration 🙏 These little candle pots are made with my favourite festive foliages and berries and using Agra wool which will degrade naturally (no plastic oasis).

I also have festive berries, a lot of eucalyptus and beautiful potted indoor bulbs to see you into the new year. Do come and say hi - due to predicted bad weather we will be inside the Age Concern building - all generations welcome and will be surrounded by stallholders offering tasty treats and last minute gifts. See you there 🫶

If you see this post can you give it a like or a comment - hugely increases reach - and costs nothing but appreciate it so much!!!!!!

I have a stall at this market on Saturday (21/12) and breaking local news is that it’s going to be inside the age concern building due to bad weather. Don’t be shy and come in and say hi - lots of yummy food and table arrangements for the big day from me! :)

will now take place INSIDE Age Concern from 09.00 to 12.30pm on Saturday 21 December. As the weather outside will be frightful, our indoor market will be delightful, so let us shop, let us shop, let us shop…. All our stalls have worked so hard to have stock ready for the market and rely on this as their income so please step up and support them. Huge thanks to Age Concern for generously opening their space to help us out. Wear your Santa hat and visit us on Saturday🎅🏼

A little preview of some of my stall for this Saturday’s village Xmas market. I’ve spent the day making up samples for table decorations. Please DM to preorder to avoid disappointment - for yourself or for me! It’s hard to know how much to bring to these markets and I am novice 🙏

I can also take bespoke orders if you have specific requirement for your table or a vessel to fill. (All designs plastic and foam free!) and will also have some beautiful bulbs potted up and festive foliage - eucalyptus and berries ❤️

Morning! Thank you so much to everyone who attended a wreath workshop this year or bought a wreath kit or a wreath from me. I do appreciate all the support so much 🙏

I’ve got some left over materials to use up from the clssses so if anyone else would like a bespoke wreath to brighten up their door do let me know as I can make a few more this week.

Here’s a few made recently for style and prices are from £25. Pink and ochre ribbons popular this year but have others.

DM me to ask 💚⭐️💫🎄🌟✨

And if you missed out on classes and want to hear first next time let me know as I feel 2025 might be the year I manage to do a mailing list!

These forever stars are available in Marram Trading as of yesterday! They are designed to dry and make a cute alternative to a wreath for a sheltered door (a flat maybe?!), or a mantelpiece or window - lots of ways to use. They are only gently festive so could be hung up well into the new year! And have a small vintage style bell to finish.

My photos are rather grey but this is England! The colours are neutral - sage green, white and a little pop of burgundy.

£19 each ✨🌟⭐️💫

Another day another wreath, this one for the lovely give her a follow and see her beautiful work if you haven’t already….

And any more wreath orders? I can make to request - colours, ribbons, match your door etc! I’m having a nice time making studio this week, lots of podcasts, tea, no rain, not too cold - these are the kind of things you notice when working outside(ish)! 💚

Wreath montage from family friendly eco Sunday afternoon class. Happy advent!! Each wreath was unique and so nice to see everyone - I had a lovely time 💚🫶

The bases are made from Sussex willow kindly gifted by a nice lady in ditchling and made these into rings with own little hands … a little moss and evergreens as a base - attached with twine - so all compostable - aside from the odd wire used to secure a couple of things.

I’ve been teaching these classes for 6 years now! And constantly evolving how I do it (& improving I think) I do like the idea of leaving less trace behind us when we can even at Christmas and it’s a good one for the next generation to think about too 😉

Full disclosure I also like a fancy wreath with lots of details and ribbon like my market ones (but never ever a foam based one, just no need at all - PREACH it!) ♻️

I’m really impressed with the range from everyone here, I kept spouting about a free flowing class and there’s no wrong way - and think results prove it 👍x
