H and S chose something a little different for their wedding 'cake'.

Yesterday's festival inspired wedding for H and S. Bright sunshine and a few clouds, but no rain and we were sheltered from the wind. Perfect. Later additions to the festival vibes were a live band, vw van photo booth and a glitter bar. And yes, it was another outing for my pink jacket.

My gorgeous couple who came all the way from Australia for their wedding today at St Nicholas' Chapel in St Ives.
It was fabulous, full of laughter and so much love. But damn, it was windy. ☺️
Thank you G and C for following your original celebrant's recommendation and booking me when they were sadly unable to do your ceremony. 2 weeks isn't much time, but we certainly pulled it off.

I can't believe it's been 2 weeks since this gorgeous elopement ceremony

Worcester cathedral at night, through my room window.
I've been up country for a funeral, staying just across the street from the cathedral, so thought I'd have a go at night photography.
I'm a way better celebrant than a photographer, but it's nice to play.

A wedding with a difference today.
Heavy rain stopped the outdoor ceremony, but the team rallied round and turned a barn into a ceremony space.
And we had the most fabulous ceremony, with laughter and tears and sooo much love for this fabulous couple.

The ceremonies all had one major thing in common. Love. Bucket loads of love. And love, after all, is what it's all about.

It was so lovely to see you again Sue, and to see all your gorgeous work.
Thank you so much too, for introducing me to the 5 other artists in your group. And I won a prize as a result of visiting them all!

It was fab to see my friend this afternoon. Sara is a very skilled embroiderer and quilter, who gave me masses of encouragement back in my earlier stitching days. We were a mean pair of charity shoppers too!!
I don’t think we’ve met up since Sara became a celebrant, so I was delighted she’d made the journey out here to see my Open Studio today ☺️

Today's view from the office, out for a fabulous couple's meeting today at Carbis Bay. The water really was that colour, and when I drove in, there was a yacht moored close in to shore. It could have been somewhere gorgeous in the Med.

A year and a day ago K and B had their joyful and beautiful wedding at Above the Bay in Falmouth. It was a gorgeous day, the bride was beautiful, the groom was handsome, there were tears and laughter and sooo much love. Perfect!

Yesterday's fabulous wedding at the Mullion Cove Hotel. It was blowing a hoolie outside courtesy of storm Nelson, but inside was only love, laughter and the most wonderful group of family and friends here to support this so lovely couple on their special day.

As a Celebrant I am able to work with short notice bookings, whether that's due to the nightmare of a last minute cancellation or change of venue, or deciding here and as soon as possible is the place and time for wedding day. I've worked with couples in both these situations this summer, one with 9 days notice of cancellation and one with a month's notice. It could be way less. Is this you? If so, please get in touch today. I'd love to create your beautiful, fun and unique ceremony and help you have your special day.

Your Celebrant, - which would be me, - will arrive at least an hour before the ceremony starts - to check in with the venue owner/coordinator - to make sure that the ceremony space is set up how you need it to be; - to meet the photographer and run through the ceremony briefly with them; - to come and say hi to you if you are getting ready at the venue and reassure you and get a sneak peek at your dress; - to meet the groom and best man and make sure they have the rings And I will stay for as long as I am needed.
