🏆🌏 One month on from being named Best Exclusive Wedding Venue in Scotland at the Scottish Wedding Awards 2025 in Glasgow and still coming down to earth! It’s such an honour to have won this prestigious award, once again enormous thanks goes to the Scottish Wedding Awards for the recognition.

For nearly two decades, Aswanley has had the privilege of providing a magical backdrop for weddings, with a Victorian barn, stunning gardens, and historic house. We take pride in tailoring every wedding to each couple’s unique vision, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable day. Our on-site cottage accommodation allows family and friends to enjoy a relaxed wedding weekend, spending quality time together while having their own private space.

Sustainability is at the heart of Aswanley. Our venue is powered by renewable energy, including biomass heating, hydro, and solar electricity, ensuring an eco-friendly celebration without compromising on comfort.

The team here is absolutely passionate about each and every wedding day being exceptional, and we are deeply grateful to our couples and suppliers for their support. Winning this award is such a proud moment, and we look forward to many more beautiful, sustainable celebrations at Aswanley.

Meet Alistair Rauscher, Aswanley’s invaluable Farm Manager! Alistair’s role goes far beyond that of a traditional farm manager, as he oversees the diverse operations here. From managing cropping and livestock to maintaining the grounds and cottage works. Alistair is also the man behind the maintenance of the magnificent beech hedge at the entrance to Aswanley which he cuts by eye! Swipe to see him in action earlier this year 🍃🏗️

Known for his eye for detail, his dedication to keeping the venue looking its best ensures everything is looking picture perfect for your celebration!

As a first cousin to Jack, Al has been coming to Aswanley throughout his life and officially part of the team for 12 years. It’s no surprise there’s a common saying here: “Ask Al!”

We loved being a part of Abbey & Josh's wedding at Aswanley Wedding Venue during the summer. The fun, relaxed vibes of the day included the meal. Family style dining and alfresco desert served from our horse float were enjoyed by their closest family and friends while they took in the amazing views at Aswanley.
