I just love when families come to me with their new baby, and you can see unlimited love filling their whole being.
They glow, the mums despite their physical and emotional changes. The dads adjusting with little sleep and helping moms heal and do so much to function and care for this new life.
Bonding and everything else is so much.
New names registration, paediatrician visits, and now, a newborn photoshoot.
This is why we talk to parents, telling them what to expect, how we can work around their new life and make things easier where possible. And create these photos that otherwise will fade away from their memories.

This morning, I prepare for my last maternity shoot of this season. I’m sad sad sad. This little studio of mine. Simple and sweet 🥰😍🥹Doing the last photo shoots as I prepare to pack and fly next Sunday - 10th March. Tomorrow two photo shoots for 1 year olds. Monday a birthday smash the cake photoshoot. We had a newborn photoshoot yesterday, with 2 sisters and a beautiful mum. I will keep whatever days I have left, for repeat clients, people who booked me already or spoken to me about their shootings. No more new enquiries. I have to pack my Mauritian life, to prepare for the new one awaiting me in the Uk.I will come back, not soon, but I will come back and I shall see these babies whom I photographed this season. I’ll be doing editing later, if you have an urgency for any photo, please message me. 60 families, in 4 months. I’m very proud, very happy, very emotional. But it will be time to say bye soon.

This is what happens during a photo session with a 2-yrs old. He controls the shoot. You just have to make sure to capture what’s needed. Well….. successful shoot? Yes!!! I’m a very happy mama right now. He’s 2 and I got plenty of memories of this special age. Photos coming soon.
