Arum lilies and primula vialii are looking stunning so I grabbed a couple of photos to share! We are open again next weekend!!! Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th June 2024. 1-5pm. The garden changes every month and this is the time of the roses, the last of the wisteria the beginning of the herbaceous borders and some late flowering Rhododendron. Benches to rest awhile and vistas to drink in, Devonshire Cream Tea to be enjoyed, come and support the wonderful charities that the National Garden Scheme raises money for.

We are open again for the three days over the Whitsun Bank Holiday - 25th, 26th & 27th May 2024, 1-5pm. Rhododendrons, azaleas, hostas, Acer's, arums, wisteria and much, much more to enjoy. Homemade Cream Teas and cakes, plant stall and artist's gallery all to enjoy.

Sorry for the delay in posting this, but just had to acknowledge what a wonderful first open garden weekend we had on behalf of with so many great visitors. Got through lots of cakes and scones, along with tub loads of clotted cream and jars of strawberry jam. A sure sign that fun was had by all.

Whist doing a bit of gravel weeding today in my swimsuit, as it's still quite warm, it started to rain, so I suppose in modern parlance, I was WILD SHOWERING!!! 😀 In our rural childhoods, we swam in local lakes and rivers, little knowing what an exotic activity it was. We called it swimming, but now it's called WILD swimming!!!! Seriously? 😂 🤣 😆
