My love for music, in particular the original composition of film composers such as Ennio Morricone; Maurice, Elmer Bernstein and Maurice Jarre has lent themselves enormously to my overactive imagination. That coupled with over 20 years as a Stage Technician at the Royal Theatre here in Northampton, and working on some of the great shows by the world’s greatest playwrights, has manufactured and co

ntributed enormously towards the success of the plays, some would say the perfect combination. With an establish theatre school formed, ‘Spears youth theatre’, I went about excising these demons. Original plays came thick and fast. ‘What about today’ ‘Song for a friend’ and Priceless to name but a few. It is to the cast and crew, that I dedicate this page too. I hope very much you enjoy seeing production photo’s and archive film footage of shows past and present.

Our Story

I have been writing new and original plays now for over three decades. My love for music, in particular the original composition of film composers such as Ennio Morricone, Maurice, Elmer Bernstein, Thomas Newman and Maurice Jarre, has lent themselves enormously to my overactive imagination. That coupled with over 29 years as a Stage Technician at the Royal Theatre here in Northampton, and being very privileged to have worked on great shows written by the world’s greatest playwrights, has manufactured and contributed enormously towards the success of the plays, some would say the perfect combination. With an establish theatre school formed, ‘Spears -Indi- Theatre ’, I went about exercising these demons. Original plays came thick and fast. ‘What About Today’ ‘Song for a friend’ and Priceless, to name but a few. It is to the cast and crew, that I dedicate this page too. I hope very much you enjoy seeing production photo’s and archive film footage of shows past and present.
