Most recent cake, made for my friends mums 80th.

To me it seems tricky just having the outside of the cake naked with just the buttercream, as I don't think it looks as smart. All the flowers, apart from the big rose are handmade.

I have been a bit absent on the cakes recently, but today, I have made a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and morello cherry jam.

I am blown away with the flavour, tbh, and I would say it's the best chocolate cake I've ever made 😋
