The History of the project

The equipment for the events company came from the lottery Awards for All fund in 2016 where we got funded to build a pop up festival in a box - we bought stalls and built a side show of funfair stalls and games that could be used for the local community to run events and fundraise for their projects at a local level thus creating community engagement at all levels and partnership working with the common aim of a community project for all. We have just received (2021) money from Awards for all - to up grade our tarps and allowing us some time to develop a strong infrastructure to set up paid grounds staff to manage the setting up and management of each event with an admin hire person paid to oversee all paperwork and bookings. The aim is to set up a strong events hire company on Bute where anyone can hire for an event.
