Thank you to all of you who came along to our sell-out night of stories by Trounce Guy and songs by River Blue - an event that Philleigh Folk ran in support of The Roseland Festival 2024.

Lynne Heraud & Pat Turner have recorded albums with a variety of well known singers and bands. Entertained at major clubs and Folk festivals, sometimes in disguise and always with much humour.
Between them they play guitar, recorder, concertina and a variety of whistles - including one from a policeman and one from a referee - don't ask how they got them! List spoon workshops in their hall of fame, perhaps some dance or dressing up when the song requires it, but both agree their voices are the most important instrument.
The resulting style is a unique blend of stunning song and harmony stretching through traditional, music hall, humorous, contemporary and self-penned material. Be prepared to be taken on a roller coaster ride of everything from high tragedy to a spot of outrage, social comment and ingenious heart-warming s**t but always in glorious vocal harmony.
