Alternatives Ceremonies Uk offers bespoke wedding ceremonies, renewal of vows, naming and welcoming ceremonies funerals, and many other ceremonies of celebration. Pagan ceremonies including Norse, handfasting, Goth and Steampunk are a speciality. Based in Whitby North Yorkshire, I travel across the UK to perform ceremonies. creating and narrate indivdual ceremonies for those who want something completely different. Authenticated by Snopes and other sources included various museums where these have been displayed, this is the original Pride flag made and signed by Gilbert Baker and the sewing machine it was made on.
Hot pink and turquoise were removed as these colours were expensive to make.
Gilbert Baker died on 31st March 2017. His legacy will live on.

In collaboration with Crafty Cove, Whitby the Til Parted By Death handfasting cords and engraved coffin box.
Made by me for last month’s The Gothic Gathering where I had a stand, these handfasting cords with a red and a black glass charm in the middle and finished off with two black ‘Til Death’ coffins, gained a lot of interest.

Once the handfasting ceremony is over, these cords will be kept safe in their specially created, black velvet lined coffin box, made by the talented Crafty Cove Crew.

Like Dracula, they didn’t stay around long as this coffin and its contents also left Whitby to go to their new home.
I will be reunited with them when they are removed from their coffin next year for their owners handfasting ceremony.

Availabe to order from myself or from Crafty Cove Whitby (in whatever colours you choose).
Each set of handfasting cords and beautiful coffin are made to order and are all different.
