The 8th ITF Taekwon‑Do Pro. National Championship-2024 has been successfully concluded at Khanda Devi, Ramechhap, Nepal on 2-3 FEB, 2024. There are participated 44 competitors male and female from the seventh province, Nepal Army, Nepal APF, Nepal Police and Organizer team. The championship inaugurated by Chief guest Gyan Kumar Shrestha, Chairman of the Khadadevi Rural Municipality. There were presented Former Finance minister of Bagmati Provicne government Mr. Shanti Prashad Paudel, Meyor of Manthali Nagarpalika Mr. Lawa Shrestha, Eb Member of ATF and Board Member of National Sports Council Mr. Anjan Dhamala, President of Nepal ITF Mr. Prabin Kumar Karki, Taekwondo Olympian Mr. Deepak Bista Vice President of Nepal Itf, Mr. Chaturlal Chaudhary, Secretary General of Nepal ITF Mr. Gham Bahadur Thapa Magar, Secretary General of NNMGC Mr. Rupsing Moktan, Treasure of Nepal ITF Mr. Bikram Bantha Magar and Nepal itf umpire and officials in the Championship.
In the competition, Sushmita Thapa Magar became the champion in the women's category 45-50 Kg and Rixang in the men's category 50-55 Kg. Sushmita and Ricksang received the champion trophy and Rs 50,000 in cash. Kusum and Nirmal, who finished second, had to settle for a cash prize of Rs 40,000.
On the men's side, Mr. Prasad Budha of Nepal Police Club won the third place. In women, Nikita Dhimal of Army came third. Both of them received Rs 30,000 in cash, trophies and medals. In the competition, athletes from 47 to 55 kg weight group for women and 50 to 57 kg weight group for men competed in professional ITF Taekwondo.
Than championship was organized by Ramechhap District ITF Taekwon‑Do Association and sponsored by Khadadevi Rural Municipality under the Championship of Mr. Dhanraj Moktan, President of Ramechhap District ITF Taekwon‑Do Association.
