In 2008 I made a life altering decision and swapped my scarf and textbooks at Otago University for a white jacket and enrolled at The Culinary Institute of New Zealand in Kerikeri. So began a most delicious and exciting journey. Though not very long, my career to date certainly doesn’t lack variety and I have had the good fortune to work for one or two of the great New Zealand and Australian chefs

of our time. My kind of cooking is unpretentious and locally-sourced we have a natural pantry on our door step that is arguably the best in the world and I intend to have a go at tasting all of it. The most precious moments with your nearest and dearest almost always involve eating (at least in my family they do!) and sharing a meal with your friends and family should never be a chore. If you are planning a get together, let me take the pressure out of entertaining. From shopping for the produce to serving the meal and doing the dishes, it would be my pleasure to create a bespoke menu especially for you and your guests. I can cater to your canapé event, sit down dinner, barbeque or even pack you up a delicious picnic hamper - there is no fixed formula to eating well so tell me what you’d love to have and let me do the cooking!
