3 years ago today, the Ivy opened in its new location at 5928 Falls Rd. 🎉🎉🎉

It’s a special thing to continue making this place the beloved one that it is with all of you. There have been so many sweet moments around the Ivy lately, from fresh displays in the shop to book clubs in the gardens to a long signing line for . Lots of new faces, lots of longtime regulars. It's a testament to your collective investment in the value of local gathering spaces, and books as connectors of people and ideas. Thank you for believing in those things, which make life meaningful every day. We can’t wait to keep going.

Middle grade author, Karina Yan Glaser is visiting Powhatan Elementary School on September 21st to meet 110 3rd-5th graders. We’re dreaming about putting a copy of her newest book, THE VANDERBEEKERS EVER AFTER into the hands of each student.

If you’d like to donate a copy, you can pickup a copy and bring it to the front desk, or order on our website and write “Donation” in the Order Comments! 🚌
