As henna artists, we are honored to participate in the important life events lives of our clients. Not only do we share the sacred blessing of henna for weddings and births, but with our art we also celebrate moments of triumph and resilience, help to commemorate loved ones and process grief, and amplify the natural beauty of all the clients who entrust us with the design and application of their henna body art.

Henna for a Harry Potter-themed After Prom! The decorations were so creative…and we heard one of the volunteer parents say, “See, I told you there would be witches!” upon seeing us in our henna set-up! 🤣🤣🤣 Admittedly, we do work some magic with henna! We did a total of 84 henna designs in 3 hours, with two artists…that averages about 4 min per henna!

HENNA CARE INSTRUCTIONS

The longer the paste stays on the skin, the darker the resulting stain will be. Do not remove the paste for at least 4 hours. It's best to let it flake off on its own throughout the course of the day and gently remove it over a trash can or outside before shower or bed. If you had your henna applied in the evening, it is best to wrap the dry paste in gauze and remove it in the morning.

The design will appear as a light yellow-orange that will oxidize to a deeper brown-red over the next 48 hours. The stain will fade as the skin naturally exfoliates. Apply olive or vegetable oil with a cotton ball before and after contact with water. Avoid using any commercial skin creams or perfumes on the area.

There are books full of all kinds of designs, you can request traditional freestyle, or we can do a custom design from an image on your phone!
