About you:

Desire to work on fun creative projects in the wedding industry, some in studio, such as invitations, laser cutting, fabric projects and more. Some onsite, like installations etc.
This position will show you what a creative professional and wedding planner does, and let you learn if it's for you!
Hunger for knowledge – it really is power. You need to know about an industry to be successful in it.
Motivated personality with a good sense of urgency.
Comfort in high-end situations. Our clients are high-end and used to a certain level of polish.
High level of creativity - We do custom design, signage, calligraphy, invitations and stationery!
Ability to work with computer software, digital design, printing, stationery (you need great handwriting!!) - A basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is important, but we will teach you as well.
A love of working with all creative materials. Do you have a marker addiction? Us too. We have a creative space, and we love to play! You will be able to learn to use a laser cutter, vinyl cutter, and so many other toys.
Ability to be extremely organized. We have many projects running at the same time, and we need you to help us manage them!
ABOUT THIS ROLE

This position is an ENTRY level position. It means you don’t have to have experience in this industry. However: You will absolutely have to have the right personality for this position, as well as a creative side. You WILL be getting fabric dye on your hands, and spray paint, gold leaf, and so much more. :)

Work 10-20hours a week to start, with the potential to move into full time as we grow this arm of the business. This position could easily turn into a full time role.
This is a currently a part-time position. It will be somewhat seasonal in hours.
The ideal person has a flexible schedule! We have a wedding one week, then two the next, we may need you one week, then not the next. We're flexible with working hours as well.
Dynamic – this position will be completely dynamic and change week-to-week. You have to be able to roll with that.
LOCATION AND TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is a must. You must have reliable, personal transportation. Not public transportation.
We’re located in Centennial, and some of this position will be remote work, some in-person, and some onsite at events from Denver to Aspen to Mexico. :)
PAY AND COMPENSATION

This position starts at $18+ an hour depending on experience.
Your role will have a fast advancement rate, as long as you grow with the role.
You will be compensated for meals and travel expenses when we're onsite at events doing installations.
Vaccination is preferred. Our entire team is vaccinated, and we prefer that any candidates are as well.

We are hiring for a salaried position with a potential to bonus, for the right candidate. Experience with event coordination is a must. The right candidate for this role will be able to hit the ground running and pick up planning and coordination for our already booked clients and new bookings being added to our calendar daily. We are looking for someone who works hard but likes to have fun, can take our jokes and sarcasm, wants to travel across Colorado (and beyond!), and takes pride in their work.

2 weeks PTO annually (based on scheduling)
This role will be a demanding, exciting role with a very busy wedding planning team.

This role will manage between 20-30 clients and assist the Owners with additional client needs.
Be a team player and work well with different personalities.
Growth opportunity within the company as we expand into new markets.
Be onsite for an average of 30-40 weddings a season.
Travel is required - our weddings are all over the state - from Aspen to Crested Butte! Overnight trips are common during wedding season. We have destination weddings out of the country as well so a passport will be needed.
Our main wedding season is May-October, and you'll be REALLY busy during that time! You'll likely be away for 2-4 days most weeks/weekends.
Evenings and weekends are required.
Requirements:

Preferred fields of experience: Event Planning, Catering Sales, Venue Management, Hotel Sales.
Knowledge of Denver & Colorado's wedding venues, vendors, and event/ hospitality industry.
Driven, self-management work style. You will work remotely from home during the week and make your own hours. As long as your work gets finished, we offer flexibility with your daily schedule outside of event days.
Preferred education in hospitality.
You must be quick on your feet, an efficient problem-solver, able to remain calm under pressure, take direction well, be a self-motivator, and have exceptional customer services and hospitality. Wedding planning is not for the weak of heart!
We are requiring a COVD19 vaccination for everyone on our team.
