Kristen Campbell Photography Now accepting inquiries for June 2025 in the Napa Valley and beyond. I promised myself that if I could help it, I'd never let this happen to anyone ever again.

Growing up, I always thought I would be a teacher or nurse, or something along those lines since both of those occupations run deep in my family. But, it wasn't until I was unexpectedly left without a photographer just 2 days before my own wedding that I knew EXACTLY what I would be doing with the rest of my life. So, I went to Best Buy and purchased my very first camera and started photographing

everything I could. After a couple of years of taking photos of every variety, I realized my passions lie within weddings and growing families.

The kind of energy I live for. 🥂
The laughter, the tears, the dance floor chaos, the “we actually did it!” moments that make your wedding feel alive.

That’s what I love capturing most — the kind of joy you can feel every time you look back at your photos.

And speaking of celebrations… I’m raising a glass to the 8 incredible couples who’ve already booked their weddings with me for next year!

Each one is getting the full KCP experience — effortless, personal, and a whole lot of fun. I can’t wait to celebrate right alongside them.

But here’s the catch — I only have 3 more openings left on my 2026 calendar before bookings officially close.

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out, consider this your little nudge. 😉

✨ Let’s make sure your wedding day feels like this photo — full of life, laughter, and love — and beautifully photographed from start to finish.

Link’s in my bio (or DM me!) to get started before those final spots are gone. 💛

I THRIVE on getting my couples to feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera 📸

True story: most of my clients tell me something along the lines of -
“ We aren’t naturals in front of the camera”
“ We always look awkward”
“ my partner HATES photos”
“ We don’t take photos besides selfies”

But, do you want some good news? IT DOESN’T MATTER ❌

Taking professional photos and taking a quick snap at brunch are two totally different things!

Don’t believe me? Scroll through my IG feed and take a look at my amazing client's! Most of them have never been in front of a camera before for a real photo session, and they all end up killing it!

How does that happen?

Because It is my job to help direct and guide you.
To make you feel comfortable and confident in your photos.
To pose you in ways that are flattering and will give you a confidence boost when you see your gallery.
To help you pick outfits that compliment your figure and bring your vision to life!

🥂It is my job to make your session an experience. An experience centered around creating memories and capturing the best moments for you to remember for years to come!

My job isn’t just to show up to your shoot and snap a button and go home. I’m way too hands-on with my clients for that approach.

Don’t let the fear of not being a “natural” in front of the camera hold you back from getting the photos you dream of! Instead, head on over to the link in my bio and shoot me an email so we can chat about how we can make the session of your dreams happen!

💚 P.S. Past clients, help me out for a sec? Drop a comment below about your session to help encourage those on the fence to take the leap!

Why my couples love including an engagement session the day of their surprise proposal:
By the time he reaches out to plan the proposal, he’s already on board with photos, which means the whole “I don’t love being in front of the camera” thing usually flies right out the window.

And honestly? That post-proposal glow is unmatched. You’re both still riding the emotional high, totally wrapped up in the moment, and naturally affectionate... no prompts needed.

It’s when the giggles, snuggles, and those “holy crap, we’re engaged!” smiles come out without a second though.

Even if you skip a future engagement session, you’ll always have these photos from the exact place and moment it all began.

If you’re planning a surprise proposal or know someone who is, save this post for later or share it with them now. These sessions are the perfect way to keep that just-engaged energy alive and capture the excitement while it’s still fresh.

Curious what it could look like for you? Comment below or send me a message and let’s start planning something unforgettable.

My brides often tell me, “ My fiance hates photos,” but can I be honest? All of my grooms ROCK their photos! Seriously they are naturals. In case you are still a little unsure, here are 4 easy tips to help your grooms be comfortable in front of the camera! Let him help pick the outfits and location! If he is happy and feels a-part of it, then he will look natural and relaxed in photos! Let date night after your session be something he enjoys! Does he have a favorite restaurant or sports bar he likes going to? Maybe a movie he has been dying to see? Make that the date night stop after your photos! It will give him something to be excited about and look forward to! Show him one of my engagement session blogs so he knows what to expect! Don’t remind him that he hates photos! Seriously don’t make a big deal out of it! The more pressure you put on photos, the more uncomfortable he may feel! Keep it light, fun, and enjoyable for him!

Ever tried packing up a newborn, siblings, pets, and enough gear to survive the apocalypse... just to drive to a studio? Yeah, hard pass.

That’s why I include a lifestyle newborn session with my top maternity collections. Those first weeks shouldn’t be an afterthought. They go by in the blink of an eye, and they deserve a special place in your family album and on your walls.

For families in Napa Valley and Sacramento, lifestyle newborn photography is one of the easiest (and most meaningful) ways to capture this stage of life. These sessions are about so much more than tiny fingers and toes. They’re about the connections that shape your baby’s world... siblings stepping into their new role as built-in best friends who will become their heroes, pets defaulting to cuddle buddies and natural born protectors, and parents being guiding hands through it all with love (and probably a little caffeine).

It’s intentional. It has purpose. And it’s a whole lot easier than hauling a car seat, a stroller, and a diaper bag the size of a suitcase across town. (ask me how I know!)

If your family is growing and you want maternity or newborn photos, message me before my calendar taps out faster than a toddler past bedtime.

“But our house doesn’t look like the ones on Instagram"

I hear this ALL the time from new parents considering in-home sessions. And I get it. It can feel vulnerable to invite someone in when the house is lived-in, the laundry’s out, and you’re running on 3 hours of sleep in a body that doesn't feel your own.

But let me tell you what I’ve seen…

This entire session took place in one room...
A 10x12 nursery in military housing (iykyk).
One big window. A gold-framed mirror. And a whole lot of love.

They didn’t clean every room. We didn’t style every corner.
We used the best-lit space, and let their connection lead the way.

✨ If you’re in the Bay Area wondering if an in-home newborn session could work in your space…I'm here to tell you, it can.

Your home doesn’t need to be magazine-ready.
It just needs you.

The countdown has begun—Holly & Jason are officially less than 30 days away from saying 'I do!' 🎉 Weddings are a whirlwind of emotions, from the nervous anticipation before walking down the aisle to the all-out joy on the dance floor. And my job? Making sure those fleeting moments aren’t just remembered but truly felt every time you look back at your photos.

As we get closer to their big day, I can’t help but think about how important it is to have a photographer who gets you—someone who understands your vision, knows how to bring out your best in front of the camera, and makes the whole process feel effortless. That’s exactly what I aim to do for every couple, so when your wedding day flies by (because trust me, it will!), you have images that take you right back to the love, laughter, and magic.

Holly & Jason’s wedding day is almost here, and I can’t wait to share their story! Stay tuned!!!

Dreaming of an intimate wedding at Lanikuhonua that feels and looks this stunning? ✨ From capturing the ocean breeze in those epic flying veil shots to guiding you through portraits so they feel natural and fun (even if you're camera-shy like Vincent was at first!), my goal is to make sure you get timeless, joy-filled images without the stress.

Beth & Vincent’s wedding was filled with so much love, faith, and a little Elvis magic—plus a saber arch exit and a sunset reception under the palms. Their day was proof that the right mix of location, lighting, and direction makes all the difference in your photos.

If you’re planning your own Lanikuhonua wedding, let’s chat about how I can help you get the dreamy, effortless images you’re envisioning! 💛

2.5 years in the making! If you saw my stories you’d know that this series of images is something I saw in my head but couldn’t quite make the timing work. It is so satisfying seeing the mental image in my head come to life!
