Aloha friends! I’m so glad you’re here! Many of you are new to our page. We are pretty new ourselves. Aloha Picnics, officially launched in Oahu, January 2019. Let’s get to know each other and become ohana!
What better way, by starting a weekly introduction. Hi 👋I’m Samai, or “Mai” for short. I’m so lucky to be in Oahu and make a living doing what I love. I find absolute joy in serving my amazing clients and being able to have a creative outlet. I’m married to a Marine, who’s serving his 24th year. We’ll be celebrating 20 years of marriage this year! The constant moves & relocations has forced me to give up several of my dream jobs. I love supporting my husband’s military career but I knew there has to be a better way to hold onto mine. We have moved 10 times in the last 14 years, to different cities, states, and countries. It definitely came with all sorts of challenges. It made me learn real quick, to find work that I absolutely love. I went ahead and built my own career, became my own boss, and take my skills & services wherever the military sends us.
I love creating beautiful and memorable experiences for people. I’ve designed and coordinated weddings for over a decade. My obsession for picnics kept fueling in my heart. So I decided to build a company that specializes in small & intimate picnic celebrations. I believe the small celebrations are just as special as the big lavish celebrations. Because of the intimacy of our custom picnics, I get to be completely personable with my clients. I’m able to give all my attention and time to help create their vision, step by step and bring it to life. Work doesn’t feel like work, when you love what you do and do what you love.

Our picnic platter is easy & fun to put together. We use locally sourced ingredients. The mango was picked from our backyard! Our platter is full of colors and deliciousness!
