Mawmaws Bullets

This dish is an old family recipe that I’ve been cooking for the family for years. My husband’s grandmother back in Louisiana use to make this for him as a child and was his favorite meal that she’d cook for him on visits and birthdays. They got named Bullets vs meatballs, because that’s what kids, especially little boys do 😆

It’s an old depression era recipe. Ground meat, bread crumbs, onions and seasonings rolled into meatballs and cooked down in a brown gravy. Pour it over some rice and pair with a fresh cut veggie and there ya have it!! Some good old southern comfort food!!

Is this something you guys would be interested in seeing as an option some week ??
