Our main presence on campus is the monthly 2nd Friday contradance series in Muskie Archives. This year's festival will be held February 8 and 9, 2013.

We also invite folk artists and musicians to come and share their work on campus. Freewill Folk Society is a student-run organization at Bates College that organizes monthly 2nd Friday contradances and invites folk artists and musicians to share their work with Bates and the Lewiston community! We also hold the annual Bates Community Folk Festival, a celebration of community and the rich folk music traditions in Maine and New England. More info to come soon!
